O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with Him is plentiful redemption. Psalm 130.7
I have been redeemed! What does that mean? It means I AM FREE! Don’t get me wrong. It does not mean I get to do whatever I please but it does mean that I’m forgiven whenever desires of the “flesh” overtake me. It seems a contradiction – being free yet being a slave to Jesus. But, it is the upside-down teachings of Scripture. The last are first, the poor are wealthy, the slave is free.
I won’t be able to explain it all while on earth, but I do know that as a child of God, I have no fear. So watch out! Here I come. I’m free to share how our Father redeems me, forgives me, loves me, and finds me acceptable to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my brother! I am free and I am redeemed!
